Location

You can't get much better than this.

Nestled between a tranquil tea-tree lake and the rolling surf of Lennox Heads, Lake Ainsworth Sport and Recreation Centre is one of the most ideally located centres you would find anywhere in the world.

Lake Ainsworth Sport and Recreation Centre is located at the northern end of the Lennox Head township, between the towns of Byron Bay and Ballina, northern New South Wales.

The centre is easily accessible:

  • 10 minutes drive from Ballina airport, with regular flights available from most major Australian cities.
  • For International travellers, Brisbane International Airport is a 2 hour drive north of the centre.
  • School staff can assist with transport arrangements.

A stone’s throw:

  • Surf’s up – ride the crest of the wave at renowned surfbeach, Lennox Head
  • Bathe and rest in the therapeutic waters of the tea-tree lake
  • The good life – a mixed bag of alternative and glamorous beach life between Byron Bay and the Gold Coast
  • Go east – to Cape Byron, Australia’s most easterly point
  • Walk on the wildside – check out one of the many National Parks and sub tropical rainforests.
