Rosie sees the Byron Brass Summer School as the opportunity of combining her love of bands with her educational work.

Rick Casagrande - Sport and Recreation Co-ordinator

Rick will be running the BBSS “Adrenalin” program which will include getting fitter with a twist.  His experience in hiking/hunting in many mountainous regions in Australia and overseas together with local beach, creek and fishing knowledge will give you a physical experience inspired by our beautiful weather and surrounds.

Sailing on the lake, high and low ropes course, tennis, basketball and plenty of beach and sunshine to keep the days rolling along.

No hard core here just the right amount of cardio and oxygenation from Rick’s beach combing exercise program to kick start your day and leave you refreshed, inspired and ready to go.

Amanda Casagrande - School Administrator

Amanda has spent almost her whole lifetime involved with brass bands. She has played cornet and flugel and achieved individually and with bands on both instruments.

A registered teacher with a Masters Degree in Science Education, and a Licentiate Diploma of Music from the Trinity College of Music, these days Amanda prefers to work behind the scenes in the IT, website and administration areas.

The Byron Brass Summer School is the perfect setting for Amanda to combine everything she loves to do.
